Enhancing School Meals Programs

The K-12 chef team works with you and your staff to identify strategies that improve or enhance the quality of your school meals program. Chefs work side by side with site-level staff during preparation and service to observe and record activities. A written site visit summary will be provided within four weeks of assessment. 

Specific areas of evaluation include the following:

  • Small equipment inventory review 
  • Inventory management and storage 
  • Food Safety & Sanitation 
  • Food production 
  • Food waste 
  • Food Quality & Service 
  • Financial management 
  • Other as requested
