School nutrition professionals in North Carolina participated in the Summer 2023 Culinary Institute workshops developed in collaboration with the N.C. Department of Public Instruction, Office of School Nutrition, and put on by Chef Cyndie and the K-12 Culinary Team.
The three-day workshops included interactive classroom and hands-on culinary skill instruction from chefs and registered dietitians. The team provided the participants with over 200 new recipes featuring locally grown ingredients.
School nutrition professionals graduate as chef ambassadors and share their knowledge with other staff.
