School nutrition managers representing six school districts came to First Flight High School from June 28-30 to participate in the local K-12 Culinary Institute regional workshop put on by Chef Cyndie and the K-12 Culinary Team. The N.C. K-12 Culinary Institute, designed to enhance school nutrition services, is funded by a U.S. Department of Agriculture Professional Standards Training Grant received by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) School Nutrition Section.
